Fantastic Erasmus & international students!
How are you all doing in the beautiful Antwerp? Did you already get used to your new hometown? We hope you enjoy Antwerp and the Erasmus way of life so far, but we want to give you even more fun. How are we planning to do this?
It's time to announce one of the most, if not THE MOST, legendary activity of the semester: the ESN weekend. During our weekend, unbreakable bonds will be created, friends you will never ever forget are made and you'll want every weekend to be like this one!

This grand event will take place in the mysterious and unknown part of Belgium, the MOUNTAINS (yet still very flat) of Belgium, better known as the 'Ardennen' or Dardennen as we Antwerpians say. It is a land where the people speak French and German, where there are only 3 speed cameras and they stand on the same road and this obscure place lays on the other side of Belgium (which all in all isn't pretty far though :p ).
** PLANNING
-Friday:
We gather at the Paardenmarkt where we take the bus to Lierneux (we will announce the exact time!)
Once arrived you will get a warm welcoming and a festive dinner. We feast our bellies full so we can start the first activity with a good 'fondke' (layer in your belly): a CANTUS!!! (!!UNLIMITED BEER FOR 3 HOURS!!) The basic principle goes as following: we sit/stand and sing & drink!
-Saturday:
On Saturday we will wake up with a large brunch. In the day you can choose between doing some hiking to explore the beautiful places of the city and surroundings (lots of old places/forrests/plains). There will also be a sport activity. Whatever you chose it will all be great fun :D!
Afterwards, you have time to rest/shower/do whatever you want. Gala Dinner (be dressed accordingly!) will be served around 19:00 and afterwards you will get time to get dressed for the night.
Sunday:
We rise up and take the bus back to Antwerp where you can sleep for the rest of the day! We'll be back in Antwerp around 15:00.

Price:
€70 for ESN Members (Membership card = €10)
€80 for non ESN Members
For the smart ones: if you buy an ESN Membership card and go on our epic weekend, you have already gotten the value out of it!!
Requirements:
*a sleeping bag, bed sheet and a pillowcase (only pillows are provided).
*themed clothing for the party on Friday
*a gala wear for the gala evening on Saturday
*some sports/comfortable shoes for the activities
Tickets are LIMITED!!!!!! So be fast! We will sell our tickets during the Ice Breaking Week and office hours! More info about buying them will follow soon!
